I know this probably gets asked a lot but I need a specific answer. My clutch is slipping more than tiger woods' reputation and so I'm after some advice on getting a new one. I have an xh ute, its pretty standard, its got a welded diff and I do burnouts alot. Advising me by those criteria which clutch should I be buying?
I am looking at ebay at the moment just for a price reference to see whats out there. I see a "no name HD" for $250, an "RPM HD" for $350, an "xtreme HD" for $400 and a "cussion button HD" for $430. Soooo whats alright? obviously the more expensive it gets the better it is but whats a good price point for my needs? I'm leaning towards the pbr RPM as I've heard alright things about them. Thanks! I hate lifting trannies...

I have an extreme HD, and I think its just a painted PBR XR6 one.
Sunbury Brakes in Melbourne (the guy on eBay) sells excellent products, give him a ring, he'll sort you out, the good thing is he's a parts reseller, rather than a 'get rid of this s**t guy on eBay. he knows whats good.

just go into any clutch joint and buy a Exedy HD. used them before and they work well. make sure you have the flywheel machined!

Thanks for the replies fellas, I appreciate it. I've bought abit of stuff from the sunbury brakes guy, might go down that route. Is an xr clutch a higher clamping load?
