Hey guys I have picked up a nicely modified Fairlane but want to make some adjustments to suit what I want to use it for. Currently it has pedders "sports rider" shock's & strut's, with pedders spring's up front, & kings spring's in the back, but I want a more comfort oriented ride. I am not after sporty handling from this car as its a cruiser, and although I like the height its at I am not at all opposed to lifting it back up to get the ride quality I want.
What would bring me back into the comfort ride area? I am not opposed to spending money on good products just want to know what works. |

Seeing as no one seems to have much knowledge on this one I found this for a good reference to shocks on this forum, a post from Greenmachine has some excellent details about what he has tried in the past.

u may find thread also helpful as i have now used Boge shocks with Pedders springs & now KYB with King springs. My next setup will be Bilstein shocks with King springs for the daily driver and pedders sport ryder extreme XA coil overs for the weekend warrior.
