G'day guys,

Got a 98 EL Falcon Sedan. Been ringing around some places today for lowered all round and replace all bushes, ball joints, pretty much the whole shabang for $2200 from my local mechanic. Now he said to come down with the car and he'll have a look so we can cut that price down a bit and replace what we need to. But does $2200 sound fair for a front and rear lowered, suspension overhaul. I'm getting the suspension out of the road now before i do the engine. Plus a lowered and comfortable ride is nice.

Also going to be upgrading the brakes, he said he can sort me out. But brakes aren't my speciality so anyone recommend some brands / average prices for brake upgrades all round so I can at least have a general idea on what I'm talking about.

Take the drive to Springwood and see Tim at City Suspension. All he does is suspension work, and will tell you EXACTLY what you need, and how much it will cost.

Depending on parts used but for $2200.00 for full replacement of bushes, front & rear shock and springs is not bad.
