ok, ive just replaced my suspension. King springs all round and munro gt shocks. I have a problem however.

Since this was done i have a constantly reoccuring scuff mark appearing on the lower spring retainer. This scuff mark is consistant with one that appears on my control arm. I have taken off the wheel, checked all the bolts are tight and then sprayed it black again and about a week later checked again and its scuffed again, rubbed off the paint i applied and gone silver. This tells me it regularly scuffs and cant be good for the suspension. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

problem 2....this is on the other side of the car and i believe it is a wheel bearing? As i drive slowly with the passenger side window down I hear a ticking noise consistant with the speed i am going at. If i go fast, it ticks quickly, if i go slow it ticks slowly. At high speeds there is no tick, either because wind sound is too loud or it simply fades away i dont know? Anyway if it is a bearing how do i tell which wheel it is on the passenger side. I know how to replace them (did it on the rear right myself a while back) i just need to know which to replace if this is the problem

Problem 1 Did you get a wheel alignment after changing springs?

Problem 2 change both bearings then you know you got the sucker!

Control arms are rubbing huh.. Are they in the correct way? Compare it to the other side.. Otherwise, it looks like you'll have to get a different set of control arms, perhaps off a Tickford version of your car which already comes lowered. I am not sure if they are different, but I know there are differences in control arms in the whole E series range.

mmm the one on the other wheel is causing me no problems. Someone suggested the rubbers may have moved? Is this a reasonable theory?

Bushes are a big possibility, especially if you didn't have the arms released and tightened at the new ride height.
