Hey guys
Ive been thinking i i need a new diff mine just stuffed and ive seen quite a few au diff and gear around for cheap prices i was wondering if any one has converted there rear end under carriage to IRS

anyone tryed

is it possiable

ive got a mig welder if needed to make up support brackets of any kind

it has been known to fit
all you need is the irs mounts to be welded to the body , still not 100% sure cause im waiting chassis spec's from each model

thats not really a problem for me

I was looking at this the other day. Someone in a champagne coloured el did this i believe? maybe ef? And then ran the diff without checking for oil :P

last time i read about this the general agreement was that you needed to drill some holes for the IRS mounts and that was about it.

there was a write up of an EL with AU xmember and irs, but i cant seem to find it,
there was details of welding pivot points etc.

Yep, i heave seen the car
Dude brought a wrecked AU XR6, and converted the entire undercarriage to his EL.
Has AU front suspension, was a b**ch to do,
Had IRS and wasn't that hard.
BViggest prob he had was relocating hand brake placement.
