Only reason i can think for PBR saying that is that it appears their slotted rotors do not extend all the way to the discs outer edge... that is effective how exactly?

Tha slot doesnt have to extend to the edge of the disc,gases will still be expelled once slot starts to clear the pad.It probably works a bit better with the slot all the way to the edge though.

gawd..... thread mining!
direction of the slots IMO is irrelevant considering there are some discs where ths slots go both ways on the dame disc face, but install them to the manufacturers directions.... 99% of the time they will be marked L and R
