What is the correct direction for slots on slotted discs ?.
The reason I ask this is that I have seen them in both directions.

ignore everything except for whats stamped on the disk
have a look at the DBA crossdrilled and slotted discs, some/all of them have slots that face both ways on the same side of the disc

On both of my cars looking at them from the passeneger side they go in this direction: /
I also heard that putting them on the wrong way will significantly reduce your pad life, so franky is right.

the slots must allow for the heat to be forced out when spinning forward not so that the air is drawn in. if that make sence (just like tryes but with heat and not water)

The DBA slotted are designed to go:
Left Hand Side Top of the Disc will be / Right Hand Side Top of the Disc will be \ As in this image: |

I have checked out plenty of info on slotted disc direction and you guys are the first ive seen saying to run the slots this way.PBR performance recommends the slots closest to the front of the vehicle be pointing down,ie leading into the pad.Im not saying your wrong , just that slot direction may be specific to the disc manufacturer.See for yourself at http://www.pbrperformance.com.au/documents/BAFittingInstructions-PL726.pdf
