That wont get you a decent set of extractors, little than anything else.
Keep saving. If you smoke, give it up.

$1000 will get you a full system. Drive in, drive out... Usually with dyno testing as well. This would include 2.5" mandrel cat-back zorst with a high flow cat and a good set of pacemaker 4499's or similar.

However you can pay less than half that depending on if you hunt around and buy second hand and fit it all yourself.

And dude... You can't make a i6 sound like a V8 no matter how hard you try... It will still only make sound like a nice i6

Regarding exhaust places, Stay away from Daalders Exhausts in Plenty Road, Preston.....They are a bunch of d***head.

well i got a 2nd hand exhaust today, 2.5" mandrel bent custom with a super turbo muffler an straight section tail pipe, its own's my brothers red back. i got mine 2nd hand for 100 which i think is a good price and its soo loud woah. where as my brothers has a quite idle but becomes loud when opens up. where as mine is loud idle and same when going. having no resinator makes the car so much louder it aint funny (from mine and my borthers car) wow i said loud a few 2 many times :P

That was the sort of setup I was about to suggest! Decent price too.

There is nothing you can do though, to make it sound good (V8 spec) though!

Nothing beats a quiet note, I've seen guys put to shame with loud exhaust at the lights because of their loud setup. lol
