Just chasing some info and being a sunday most joints to ask are closed.
Does anyone know the physical characteristic difference between the King SuperLows (KFFL-26SL - Front spring) and the factory EF/EL XR spring. Im only concerned in this case with the fronts. Im aware the EF/EL XR's were 35mm lower in the front and 32mm lower in the rear over the base falcon range. Was just wondering if anyone knew if the number of coils or length of each coil run was the same as the factory ford one and they were just wound together tighter/shorter to create the height drop or whether there was actually less coils in the superlows? Appreciate if anyone can provide any assitance... Cheers all Kev

Yeh just about, but what im after is the actual comparison of the physical difference between say the lows and superlows of performance springs .. so if the standard 'low' spring will provide a 20-30mm drop in height whereas the 'superlows' will give a 40-60mm drop depending on various characteristics ... now is this drop due to a reduction in the number of coils per spring or is each coil simply wound tighter together to create a shorter spring overall but retains the same number of coils.

You do realise that the reduction in the number of coils means a stiffer spring and a tighter wound spring regarding the number of coils means a softer spring
dont you?
