I have 2 questions to be answered.Ok;

1)Can the rear discs/brake callipers from a EA falcon diff be bolted up to an earlier diff that has drums brakes?for example XA to XF.

2)On a EA diff can you cut off the coil spring seats and control are mounts and weld leaf spring seats so that you can use a coil spring diff into a leaf sprung car???If this is possible will a EA LSD 25spline 2.92 be ok behind a 302/351 cleveland in an XD sedan running an auto???

how much power can a diff handle? in general?
a standard EA is about 139kw

what is a standardish cleveland pushing out?

if you got the time patiance and a little bit of knowleadge anything is possible.

Thanks for that,the clevo i have for my XD should be around 300hp at the wheels,but at themoment am really strapped for cash so i have an old EA Spac which i can take the diff from.But i also have another diff laying around from an XY its actually sitting under my XD now,i was hoping there was a chance of removing the brakes from the EA diff and bolting them up to the XY diff and using the XY axles.Just wanted to know if any one hase tryed this.
