Hey everyone...I just had a look at my car and it seems as though the diff might be off centred having one rim out further in the wheel arch then the other side.
I measured the drivers side rear tyre from the top to the end of the wheel arch (horizontally...not vertically) and it sits closer to the outside then the passenger side. Tyre on passenger side sits inside the wheel arch by about an inch or so... Question...WTF? [EDIT: In more detail...how can this happen and what should hold the diff more centred so that the wheels don't sit towards one side. I think something may have come loose after taking corners a bit faster.] phong =P~

*shrugs* Haven't hit any curbs yet...when I have been driving, I doubt my dad has been going side ways and hitting curbs hard enough to bend it . At work and can't jack it up to even see if anything is bent...looks weird. phong =P~

I am not sure, bought it at an auction and no history of repairs to the car...so I guess it might have been. Doesn't seem to be bad since it is still driving phong =P~

Maybe the diff is fine and the wheel arch on 1 side is bent?
Or perhaps a wheel isn't sitting right on flush? |

Or perhaps a wheel isn't sitting right on flush? I checked the wheels, they are sitting nice and flush to the hub...I guess I should check the hub to make sure it's sitting right too... Arches seem fine, but will have a closer look tomorrow, too cold to go outside and i'm scared of the dark . phong =P~

if you have lowerd it then the diff will go to one side most of the time my mate had to get a adjustable panard rod to fix it in his commodore mabe something like that

commodores are completely different in design. falcons dont need to be adjusted as they have a joint that turns as it lowers, falcons have a fixed length bar that pushes the diff sideways when lowered

falcons dont have panard rods like the commo. they got the wats link set up which is 2 rods that pivot of a centre hub keeping the diff in centre |

Hmm...will have a look at the watts links and the rods. I'll measure the distance and also see if it is bent.
