I have just put the diff in to buy me some time to find someone to rebuild the one that s**t itself. Its too hard to find anyone now there mostly on holidays.

The car will be going about 5km/h faster than it says, you just divide the old ratio by the new ratio.

Hows that meant to work?
So my old ratio (3.23) and new ratio as of a couple hours ago  (3.91)
i'd have a difference of 8 km/h???
The bigger the ratio the more accurate :?

well if you just did that then your speedo will over-read by about 17%. The speedo gear goes into the gearbox, so it works off how fast that gearbox is rotating. If you put a different diff in without changing the speedo gear then the car will be going slower/faster than it would with the original diff-so the speedo is off.

The speedo will read slower if you put a 3.08 instead of the stock 3.23. :D
And if you change the speedo gear the shift patterns will be out in the auto :( but the speedo will be correct :?
