Im sure he knew it wouldnt be normal for it to make a sound at any legal or drivable speed for these cars lol.
Service it when flush n new oil, it doesnt help have closer look, might be a but worn.

i was once told that after a lot of highway driving the oil in the cones of the LSD thinns out and makes noises something like that. to get oil back in there you need to find a large open space with b**ch and do 5 circles to the left and 5 to the right slowly to get everything moving in there again.

i replaced the oil in my diff and the sound is still there it's like a whine sound around 80km. After i take my foot off the accelerator. Should i take the car to a diff place and see what they say ?

Certainly wouldn't hurt. Is it present at that speed constantly or only when no accelerator is applied, bit more info.?

Only when the accelerator is not applied until around 60 km. Then it will go away even when i put the brakes on. Soon as you touch the accelerator it's gone.

My old EA does exactly the same thing! The transmission was recon'd a few years ago and has had regular servicing since then, so pretty sure it's not that. Sound is deffinantly from the back of the car. had the diff looked at a while and was told it's ok but could get no explanation for the 'whine'. They seemed to think it was one of those 'Ford sounds'

Its probably bearings as this is about all that will whine in your diff. I know that some one is going to say that if the back lash and pinion depth isnt right then it will whine too but it the noise wasnt there in the first place then it will definately be bearings, as back lash and pinion depth dont change measurably over the life of a diff.

Yeah my pursuit does only under full throttle over 80kms-140kms above is fine. but if it make noise all the time around 80kms its got to be bearings, could even be wheel bearings
