Hi All

If I have a car with ABS and busted diff, can I get a diff without ABS and put it in the car? What would I have to swap to keep the ABS working?

Is it just a case of swaping the axles if the ratio and splines are the same? or is there other differences.

Regards
BenJ

you'll need to replace axles and the backing plate for the ABS sensor.
diff will be the same.

I believe if you get an EA-EB1 with abs, it will have 25 spline axles, EB2 and up will have 28.

Cool, thanks for that.

So then, if the receiving car is a 94 ED and the donor diff is from a 93 EB all should match up then.

Does this hold true for v8 as well? Have a eb1 fairmont v8 with no abs and 3.9 gears. Want to swap into eb2 xr8 with abs.
