Hey guys i was just trying to sus out a new diff or rebuild mine, i rang up a wreckers to see if i can find and the guy said they dont have any for a manual, whats the difference? sorry if its a stupid question

Assuming you have an ED, there is no difference between auto and manual diffs or driveshafts for that matter.

He might have been thinking of the final drive ratios as there was a wide range. Common ones are 3.08, 3.27, 3.45:1.

Wagon diffs are different as the wagon uses leaf springs instead of coil springs.
