$100 for 5 Snowflakes.....4 required.
$188 ea for welding and machine work.
$25 ea for powder coat.

So a total of $253 ea.

That's just me takin the piss. If you look closely at the pics you'll see I made some XR9 badges for the ute. The first time I put the ute together with the EFI Cleveland('bout 7 years ago) there were a few suggestions about what I should put on there. They ranged from just plain XR8 to XR5.8 etc. They all seemed a bit too obvious to me so I made those.
What's funny is the comments you get. Things like; "What's an XR9?" "Does it have a 9 cylinders?" "I thought I new all the Ford range!?".
Even had some young kids at an All Ford Day some years ago, count the posts on the dizzy cap including the coil post and proclaim "Yeah it has got nine cylinders!!" That cracked up everyone within ear shot!
What's sad is you get some really anal people whinging about it!?!
They are actually upset about it!?! One guy practically wanted to fight about it because he reckoned I just turned an XR6 badge upside down....maybe he realised what a moron he was after making the statement which, had us all giggling? I told him " it's piece of f**k plastic get over it!"
It's probably a good thing I never got around to making the "modfiied" tickford wing badge that was to have a white goved fist with a middle finger sticking up and "PetesFord" instead of tickford?
I wonder what will happen when I get my '69 XR7 Cougar on the road?

Cheers,
Pete.

Yeah probably,
You don't get in contact with them.....I do.
It's legal if you do it the right way and the guy is a certified aircraft welder.
