Fiftyone u sure didnt waist any time callin them! y not wait till i try them as we all are new to this brand. BTW a mate got a price for some shortened rear shocks for his EA that im fitting my old springs to they are Ultima at $150 where again IMO is a very reasonable price considering other places quoted him for Monroe shortened shocks (they dont even make them!) $180 and Pedders even more just over the $200 mark.

I have run dobinsons before.. very good quality and much easier on the a** than kings.. kings are too firm, but a static wound spring will do that.. the dobinsons are a progressive wound spring, basically the end coils work harder and the inner coils equalise (very basically) where as the kings a re a static or solid wound could that offers all coils doing the same job.

IMO different coils for different Progressive loads works a hell of alot better.

I got king super lows in my el xr8, the best springs I have ever driven on, tried pedders and K mac on various other cars I have had, but do not even come close to the kings...

They were already fitted when I bought the xr, so I went and put king springs on my coupe as well......

ps both cars also have koni adjustable shocks, so they probably help

Yeh, i'd keep the setup you got and just get the exhaust lifted closer to the body.

Well they are all installed after about 2 1/2 hrs this morning. First impressions are the front is a bit hight but they are yet to settle in. Took her for a drive and well... im very impressed with how smooth they are even over some rough roads. Handling is great on fast turns. The ride in IMO is far better that Kings as they do appear harsh over rough roads. The smoothness does feel like stock but the handling is far better. I wish now i went with Dobinson in the first place but then i couldnt compare them to Kings and give you guys this research. Well worth getting these springs if you are lowereing your ride. The rear now sits at 350mm HTG and the front 365mm HTG.
