Over xmas I lowered my car on Kings SL front and rear on koni reds.
After scraping on too many speed humps, and having my kidneys jolted around by the stiffnes of king springs, I've decided that maybe its time to get something a little more practical and comfortable.
I thought I'd measure the hub-to-guard distances to see where the car is at and where I want it to be and I got the following.
LF = 330, RF = 337
LR = 345, RR = 340
(Good quality control right there)

I thought superlows where supposed to be 340-345 up front.
No wonder I'm scraping.

Anyway, I'm thinking of getting dobinsons low-comfort springs but I cant find anywhere they mention the amount it will lower the car, or the estimated hub-to-guard measurements.

Has anyone had experience with dobinsons? Do they have better quality control/accuracy of manufacture?

Dobinsons make them right here in Rocky. I have been on a trade night there too, many years ago.
They also sell shockies too, as well as bushes and such.

got those in my car. make sure the shocks are in a1 condition if you put them in as they will sag a little. 3 footy players in the back and my car is on the stops.

that said a little weight in the back makes it look cool. i'd probably go with koni or pedders sports with a set of king springs if i were to do it again. Not anything bad by mr dobinson, just makes life a little less practical, but very comfortable

How does the package feel front and rear???

Does it ride well with the dobinson springs???

I had Boge with Pedders sport ryder springs and found front to be nice and firm but rear was about 25% softer

Are u expirencing the same???

as i said, its a little too wallowy for my liking. on open roads it dips and weaves a little more than expected, but if they werent comfort springs it wouldnt be an issue i dont think.

Time over and a bit of cash, i'd go a set of kings with pedders sports ryda. Home installation of course
