It wont always work, my AU Fairmont as far as i know doesn't have LSD, but if i rip a burnout it spins both wheels, sometimes. IT also depends on the tires.

Jack up the back of the car and release the handbrake. Turn on of the rear wheels - if the other one moves the opposite way it's a single spinner, if both move the same way you have an LSD.
