I have one on my ef that I built exactly according to their specs, with switch to turn it on or back to std. works perfectly. Adjustable would be very costly though because of the current handling requirements.
resistor sizes specified seem very acceptable to me, - chirps tyres into 2nd gear and not too harsh unless using only partial throttle, in which case might as well switch it back to standard. Mounted my sw in the bottom of the nook above the ashtray so it's easy to reach. did have to cut 1 wire and solder splice into another but all out of sight and doesn't worry me too much - they do it all the time when fitting lpg kits etc. parts probably cost me about 12 bucks from jaycar and a bit of fiddling around, but if I didn't have ability to build it I think cost of kit is well worth it even at $90 considering how soggy std gearshift is.

Will it be worth it to get one? Anyone asked a mechanic about them and if they can stuff up things?
