With 4.11s the car will behave much more like a manual throughout the rev range, with 1st and second being pretty much identical to a 5spd with 3.23s/3.45s.

(which would not suprise me) i typed in the ratio's when i was manual, and it was pretty spot with the speeds of each gear eg. 1st gear 50kph, 2nd gear 80kph |

stall converter is going to flash to a given rpm no matter what diff gears you have, so as to get the engine into its power cure straight up, once you hit the stall is when you drive to the rear.
the ratio change will shorten the gears and make the engine rev quicker, gettig you high into power faster. bagging a ss is not a good thing , the diff planetairys and side gears are not designed to rotate that quick and have stuff all oiling , they will fail fast, welding themselves together ,chewing out the side shims (brass) real quick. there is no reson to have a ss if you can afford an lsd

one thing ive noticed since changing my ratio... if i stall it up even with lsd it wont keep traction. Is my converter working properlly?

Well an update, yes LSD does give you that much traction lol
The 4.11's are in, along with a reco LSD and i can pretty much jump on the throttle off the mark, and tyres hardly spin or screech. Pretty much just 2 or 3 chirps from the tyres, the rear end steps out slightly and off it goes. As long as i dont do burnouts or anything stupid, the LSD should stay tight for a long while yet |

Good to hear!
I told ya they make so much of a difference its not funny. Should stay tight as long as you dont rip too many hoops or try drifting at speeds too often, if you're into that you need a KAAZ imo. |
