Hey guys will be rippin out the stuffed clutch and throwin in the my new exedy button clutch on the weekend.

I haven't done a clutch yet and was wondering if there was anything to look out for that might be better to know before commencing the job.

I have already made an aligning tool and have a full kit and new cable to go in.

Cheers fellas
P.s if anyone wants i can take some photos during the job to simplify the job for anyone else doin it in the future.

should be a straight forward job, about the only thing that comes to mind is when your doing up the bolts that hold the pressure plate to the flywheel that you pull them in even.

If you have a look at my manual conversion guide, that pretty much covers everything on the installation side of things.

Since you have an aligning tool, that makes it even easier!

Check your flywheel, if it feels rough you might want to take it out and get it machined to get a perfect surface for the button clutch to grab.

it needs to be rough to get friction...
when you machine it make sure the surface finish isn't too fine or it will operate like a glazed unit.
