For all those who have a mustang out there I have a 65 coupe 289 windsor 3spd manual!

I have just given my mechanic a heart attack! :?

we bought a conversion kit from sunbury brakes which is fine! the slotted rotors and calipers fitted nicely and looked great

the trouble we had was with a brake booster and master cylinder!

the master is from a xa xb and has to be altered to suit a 7" dual diaphragm booster (we were originally given a booster to suit an xa xb as well but this his on the clutch linkages in the firewall) even witht he 7" booster the clutch linkages needed to be bent and adjusted as the hole for the clutch pedal needed to be redrilled and move to a lower position!

today after being at the workshop for almost 4 weeks the booster and master is in and the brake lines are being run today! :D

Has anyone heard of similar probs?

Moral of this story buy a mustang with already converted front disc brakes or buy an automatic!

Damn Nightmare!

with the help of the boys at Eastcoast mustang & camaro and Hopper Stoppers and AutoHush Mufflers in Ballarat

the job is almost complete!
