Clearing is clearing. it dont matter if you win by an inch or a mile.. winnings winning!! nah i agree with 67RCE if its 1mm or 20mm as long as it clears who cares Lol, thats exactly where I got the quote from. For those that say 10's don't fit, your quite welcon to be proven wrong. come check out my Fairlane and I'll prove 10" rears clear with ease.

{USERNAME} wrote: So your rears are "inside" your guard? Like f**k they are. The rear guards on these cars leave a bit of room for pissing about with mate. 10" with zero offset would be about in line with outside guard... I'm tracking slightly wider than normal with a 9" rim and there's plenty of room to add more.... |

with this whole stretched sidewall thing, don't you get grief from the cops? I know years ago that was a bit of a no - no - they argued that in the case of a flat the rim would hit the gound first (i.e, not cushioned by a wider tyre as it deflated..) I mean, I'm cool with it, but just wondered if it draws attention...

not just that, also pushing the car hard into a corner can cause it to ride on the sidwall.

I'm running a fine line, 235's are legal on 9.5's where I habe them on 10's. I don't get hassled by the police in any manner. Driving style and the fact I have a Fairlane allow me to fly under the radar.
