Was wondering whether it is worth a new torque converter being put in? Id think a 200, 000kms + one would be no where near as good of technology as a new one... while the car is apart I might as well do it rather than removing things again??? Opinions?

It will be just the same as the original one was when it was brand new. I doubt any new technology has gone into them. You can however get one that stalls at a later rpm.
