Hi All, will a EA 4 Speed 2500 Stall Convertor fit into my ED XR6 4 Speed Gearbox.

Should be okay - you won't swap with an EF/EL trans, so make sure the ED trans is a BTR91(original fit).

It's a genuine ed xr6 auto but does the gearbox have a plate or marked somewhere saying btr91 - if so where - thanks guys - one tsv shop said no and the other said yes - the yes man told me the ef/al have a longer front snout and then told me to be careful buying the convertor cos the owner might be wrong too - it's happend to me before with a 4000 clevo stall but it was actually for a windsor :(

The 91's have two external band adjusters on the main casing - the 93's don't (they're internal).
The adjusters from memory just look like an adjuster screw with a lock nut.
