If i use a T5 out of a EA then get a EF broadband manifold i will need a ECU out of a manual EF? Is there anywhere u can buy aftermarket ECU's as its gonna be hard to find a EF manual wrecking..

Turns out it's more than just the first gear ratio which is different, which I always thought was the only difference.

these boxes look the same but are fairly different internally.
the ea also uses a smaller clutch and the flywheel is drilled different
to suit this.
you can use a ED computer with the BBM and can buy a ED XR manual computer fairly easy.
my advice is to buy the latest model that you can find. up to el will all interchange.
