Hi all,

I have an EA wagon with a dreadful gear ratio (i presume a 2.92).

What I want to know is, will 4.11 gears fit in my 75 series diff?

I used to think any gears would fit but I am now led to believe that the pinion length on 75 series is longer and the crown wheel thinner (I think I've got it the right way round) to 78 series. Or is that just gears out of an EF/EL.

I am under the impression the highest gear I can fit is 3.23.

Would it just be easier to swap my housing over for an EBII diff and tail shaft? (EBII is 78 series right?)

Goddam if I knew EA had a different diff I wouldn't have bought it LOL.
