Just need to know if the tailshaft off an EA 3.9 Auto will fit on to my EB II 5L Auto.....

no it won't fit
eb had the alum shaft with a flat style connection to the diff
the ea had steel shaft and a typical yoke attachment

Series 2 EA had the flange type rear coupling, same as later models.

However from 3.9 to 5.0 the shaft length maybe differant.

length is the same i got a 3.9 ea1 shaft and diff in my eb 5.0l
waiting on my new diff to put the alloy shaft back in
