Hi guys i have a 277 LSD in my 5spd EA, iv noticed a bit of a problem, when cornering at low speeds ie <10km/h so turning at an intersection, if i have the car in gear and acclerating around the corner something at the back end, im guessing LSD goes clunk and you can feel it jolt the car...
If im doing more than 10-15km/h so on a road doing say 60km/h go around a bend acclerating, it dosnt do it. also say im turning into my driveway, im down to 10km/h i clutch in and it dosnt do it. It only just started doing it, I thought it was a suspenison problem first, i drove 30km on the road i usally drive on but with a much heavier load like a 150kg guy in teh back, thats why we thought it was the suspension cause it started after we left the servo and it was pritty bad, i was expecting something to drop out, but he got out, i left his place, big turn up a hill, didnt do it, then it started to do it this arvo, but not as bad as when he was in it lol any ideas whats wrong |

If it only deos it round corners it sounds like youve broken one or more spider gears.....i done the same to my Valiant (only six times but). Have you being hammering it coz the ford diffs have a 4 pinion setup which is fairly strong as opposed to the 2 pinion set up on a Valiant....

ok worked it out, broken spider gear so theres a 292 Singlespinner in it at the moment just gotta get my 3.45 diff
