Hey all,
I was just wondering if there is any easy way of identifying an EA T5 from an EBII onwards T5.(other than pulling it apart??) The reason i ask this is because i have an EA series t5 in my car at the moment and i am buying what the guy believes to be an EB series box. (If worse comes to worse i spose when i put it in and first gear's longer then it used to be, chance are it will be an EB box.) Cheers in advance

Look at the Casting date. If it has 87,88,89,90,91, it'll be the EA box.
