What is the wheel size that an EA GL series II, are they 14's or 15's? I need to work out a speedo gear for a 3:08 diff with 15's instead of the 2.77 thats in it. I am hoping its brown as I already have one and a light green as well.

14's are standard on the GL (alltho 15" alloys was a factory option), 15" is standard on the S, Fairmont & Fairlanes.
the standard snowflake rim is 15"

Thanks all. I then assume that the brown gear is the one to install for 15" and 3.08 in an EA.

Wheel diametre will make no difference to speedo, because the tyre size (profile) must change leaving the overall (tyre & rim) diametre the same or very close to it.

A 195/75 x 14 tyre is close in total outside diameter to a 205/65 x 15 tyre.
The ED falcon was the last to run 14's on GL's and low spec Futura. The EF was the first to have 15's (steelies) as std equipment on the lower spec models. If you got a speedo gear out of a low spec EF, you'll be right as they ran 3.08 diff gears ( auto ).
