trim 5mm (the un threaded part) off your studs and the mag wheel nuts will fit perfectly

well got home and took the steelies off
got tha mags and put it in place and gave it a couple of light taps and kept doing that till they were on....i thought that doing that wasnt gonna f**k the hub.... THEY ARE ON. Cheer guys. Im going to go to the wreckers and get some mag wheel nuts as its not cool to trim the studs. thanks all

i had a set of wheels that were tight on the hub so i ran some sandpaper over the hub bit on the wheel and they slid on. it didn't take much effort, but it had a cast spot which stopped it from going on.

well the way you were describing it i thought the nuts were the problem.
i recommend removing the rims and give em a light sand, cause if they were a real tight fit, they might be a pain to remove later on down the track. maybe even smear some grease onto it just incase.

HA they are on how. lmao When i get new tyres next week ill do that because they all come off. Ill also get some mag wheel nuts at the same time.

Stomper I had the fairmont rims on my EF. You need to either have the nuts drilled and thread tapped ($2.50ea thyey are a shaft and tapered nut) or put EA-ED studs on the car. Dont cut the the studs as it can weaken them. PM me if you need help with them.
