i am having troubles with my auto box, wen u are slowing down if u down change the selector, the box finds it own nuetral and wen u rev it it drops into gear but as soon as u back off again it drops back out in to free range. sometimes the selector has no control once you are in drive it only accept PRND no manual selsection of 123 any ideas

Might sound silly but have you checked your fluid level. How long has it been since it had a service?

theres a lil white thingy on the passenger side of the gearbox housing which all the plugs plug into. that could be f**k. Only a thought but, could be ya oil.

its bout due for a service but its still silky smoothe which makes me think electrical

try replacing the inhibitor switch first they play up often.
