hey all i am looking at buying a 5 speed conversion kit out of an eb and putting it into my 96 ef fairmont.
i was just woundering if everything will fit or what i will have to source
if some body could shed sum light on it it would be great

everything will fit but you will need an ef ECU due to BBM and coil pack.

you can keep your standard EF ECU 50cents worth of resistors will fix that, also, the pedal boxes are different, you can make them fit, but best of getting a mal wood clutch pin.

its a clutch pedal pin....if you can get the pedal box from the eb use that, iv got one sitting in my boot waiting to be welded up.

personally wouldnt use the resistor trick, auto motors are run different to manuals.

if you can use a manual ecu.

You mean the gearbox loom? The one with the rectangle plug on the firewall? Maybe. Need to have a look at the eb & ef wiring diagrams & see if they are the same.
