Hi, I am finishing off an EBII XR8 restoration but I have having clutch pedal adjustment problems. I have fitted a new clutch cable and bushes on the pedal but there does not seem to be anything to stop the pedal at it's correct height from the floor. At the moment it sits right up high. Can anyone help please? Thanks

On the firewall where the cable goes out there is the clutch adjustment nut, if you have the nut done all the way up the thread, the pedal will sit up high and you will have to let the pedal out a mile before you move, try setting the nut half way and see how you go with that.
