Am doing a project at the moment, turning a GLI wagon into a Fairmont. Got myself a ritten off Ghia Sedan and am changing over all the good stuff, have come up with a problem, the Ghia has a 3.27 LSD diff under her and thought I would swap into the wagon which has a 3.27 as well. The problem is the inner pinion bearing is larger in the slippery, looks like the bearings would interchange but that would mean fitting a smaller bearing to the slippery, has anyone played with something like this, would love some feedback... thanks

how about using the same gears but the LSD centre?

I have been playing with this all morning and did not even think about changing the centre, on my way to the shed now to check out the bolt patterns, hope they are the same, again thanks

Again thanks Interceptor, all worked out well, crownwheel and pinion fitted up on LSD centre, will be still running the small inner pinion bearing so will have to take it a bit easy, I don't do as many burn outs as I used to, just sometimes like letting you young guys know that some of us old f@rt can still drive.
