I just bought an EF Monty that is all apart from the 'standard' diff being very worn......I'm hoping i can put my EB LSD init as i be wrecking that car now.....Can it be done??? Surely the housing and mounts would be the same but just the discs and calipers will be different......Will save me buying another diff!

you will need to change the brake calipers, rotors, and lines and most likely the axels, you will also need to cut the hand brake cable mounts off the EF diff and weld them onto the EB diff...

Yeah i realise the calipers and discs and prob the axles to as they have the EF disc flanges on them......But will th EF axles slot into the actual LSD diff drives??? Don't want to change it all and find out they won't fit??? Might be better selling mine and buying a proper EF LSD???

Just slap in a centre, use your shims and gears. I could sell you one for $150

O.k so the LSD centre will fit into the housing.....then the EF axles will fit back into it......Would change axle bearings while at it too???

no its behind the disc, you have to get at from a small slot in the back or take the disc off, adjust, put on etc
