Some times whilst driving the economy light will drop out i know its not blown becouse its been replaced with a new one unsure on switch but have cleaned contacts on plug

The gearbox does have a slippin problem and i believe its fluid probl i hope becouse oil is a dark brown i onli did a pan 5000ks ago but even then previous owner hadnt changed oil in a while the car has 230k on it

I know that but ob the econ light is part of the gearbox so maybe it MIGHT help diagnose the problem

It sounds like its sipping like u put ur foot down on the cluth then released it Well yea so what your saying another oil change shuld HOPEFULY fix the issue

Well i spoke to a specalist other week n explained the syptomns and the oil how it may need changing and still they said that it needed rebuilding
