Hi there just checked my Ed xr8 diff and found its bent.

Want to get another one but was wondering if anyone out there will know if an ef el or au diff fit the same without any mods. If so what was difference about the 6 cyl diff and the v8 diff.

I know ratios might change but I'm not fussed.

read the different diff types explained thread in driveline section (where you posted this)...

We have covered it in detail... Yes they vary... Ratio's especially... EF/EL have different handbrake and brake line arrangements... I have an EL diff in my ED with modification... AU live axle have different offset wheels... so hub to hub the diff is longer... EA-EBI with 2 pinion and EII onward were 4 pinion and upped to 28 spline axles... Again all covered in the diff types explain thread... The last half a dozen pages or so... Myself and 67RCE were discussing them...
