How does the odometer (the numbers that count the Ks) work? A day before I trade the ED in (for an AU) it decides to stop working!!!! I know its electronic, does it run from the trans? the speedo works fine. Cheers.

Two Capistors in the board, They always dry up .. or get dry joints, I forget how many I've done in peoples cars, But it always fixes the problem .

Because the speedo still works, But the KM's doesn't ..

get a ECU with lower k's on it ... my fairmont had 180,000 on the clock, after changing the engin to a MPI and changing the ECU to my ex taxi fairlane one the k's wound foward right in front of me to over 300,000.

au2low do you remember off hand what size these capacitors are??
mine stopped working a few months back and i don't particularly want to be driving a car without a dashboard untill i have parts...

you still know how fast your going, but the KM's just dont get higher...
