Guys. Im looking at a 2300 stall for my ef (6 cyl).
What difference will this make to driveability - particualrly in traffic. What will it do to the box, and what do I need to know to keep it alive? Im looking at this with a BA shifter conversion nigel |

isnt the standard stall 2200-2300rpm anyway?
you wont notice anything, no point fitting another stall unless your running a huge cam |

ok - again, the question is how is driveability different.
Will it lockup? - at what speed, and will I need to do something to stop the ecu from going to limp mode |

my mum's ED has a 2500 stall in it, was in there before we got it... its only got an exhaust system and stock 3.08 diff so it dosent really do anything performance wise, id even say it accelerated slower going up a hill.

3000 to 3500 is what you're looking for if you want a noticeable difference.

i have a 3000rpm stall in my EF.
lockup function is fine. drivability is perfect, i drive it every day to and from work. i've actually managed to get it upto about 3400rpm when trying
