i have a complete ef ghia 3.45 lsd sitting in the shed..i want to put it into my eb...i have to change trailing arms dont i?
wot else and can anyone point me in the direction of a thread re this as i need to know about speedo changes as well.

i put a ed diff in me ea and i had to change the bushes in the lower trailing arms
because the ed has wider bushes than the ea ..(i think ea is the same series 1 eb)
so you pretty much have to use the ea arms and replace the rear lower bushes or use the ed arms and remove the spacers from the chasis where the lower arms attach the body..
and the tailshaft flange is also different..
you can use the ea/eb tail shaft and change the diff flange or you can use the ed tailshaft .. they all interchange with each other...

I have an EBII diff in my 88EA. I made alloy spacers for the rear trailing arm bushes, and used the EBII tailshaft, wholusbowlus. I also added extra bracing for the bracket on the diff. Here's some pics.

My XE is running an EB2 3.27 diff. I used the XE trailing arms which is used up to EB1, and fitted a spacer made of flat plate with a hole drilled in it, and an EF XR6 tailshaft. Big bad harmonic bal on tailshaft yolk nearly rubs on floor tho.

EA's never had those balancer slip yoke setups. I'd be using an earlier t/shaft, it might fix your wobble prob.
