Hi Guys,
I completed the 5-speed conversion in my EF fairmont on the weekend. I just used the auto computer but now my car is idling high and the thermos are continuosly running, i think its safe to say its a wiring problem does any one know a remedy for this??

Thanks...

use a manual computer is the easiet. there is some way of getting round this though - you need to trick the computer to thinking it's in neutral. it's some resistor trick. never had to do it - i just bought a manual, much easier!!

yeh apparently you have to buy a couple resistors to trick the auto in thinking its in neutral and gearbox temp trick so the thermo's aren't on constantly.
