Hey lads, just a quick one, my auto box in the EF is starting to take a long time to change when i get in the throttle to over take, when driving normal it changes smooth and dosent jerk into gear and its not slipping, just when i put my foot down it just reacts much slower then what it used too, to knock down to a lower gear under full acceleration,

any sugestions?

Thanks lads.

Dude...i had a similar thing. Took it to the dealer for a flush. 150 bucks. Shifted sweet after that.

You can also check the gearbox oil level/quality fairly easily yourself (on an auto). Just undo the bolt about halfway up the drivers side of the tranny, and dip your little efinger in there. Should touch oil - and check the colour of the oil on your finger. If its black and burnt, its time for an oil change/service.

Since your having troubles take it to a specialist and get a full flush and filter change done - should cost around $250.00...
I do a filter change on mine reguarly and that only changes a few litres of the oil and I find that there is a very noticable improvement in the box from just that!
