Yes, it will fit.

BUT with a number of mods.

The EA lower control arms have narrower bushes than the EF so you will need to fabricate some spacers to fill the gap in the diff lower control arm mounts. You may also have the same issue with the upper control arm mounts.

The hand brake and disc brake assembly is very different.

My recommendation would be to retain the EF discs, rotors and hand brake lines. By using Wire Clamps you can locate the EF hand brake cable to the right hand EA hand brake. The left hand EA hand brake cable needs to be locked into a static position against the left hand side.

Oh, and you will need to use an EB11 - EL tailshaft as the pinion mount is very different to the EA.

Hope that helps.

Cheers
BenJ

Are you talking about the replacing the whole axle assembly as BenJ has detailed, or just the diff centre?

I think you can change the diff centres over. If the number of splines on your existing axles are different, you may be able to use the EF axles as well. When I had my single spinner diff changed to LSD, the mechanic assumed it was a 25 spline diff. It turned out to be a 28 spline, I had to get some secondhand axles to match.

Alternatively, you can put EF bushes in the diff end of your lower control arms.
