Hi folks. I need a bit of info here. I have an EL wagon, and I will be replacing the diff with an EF unit I have sitting around(disc to disc) Can anybody tell me if there are any major differences between the EF and EL wagon diffs/housings.
E.g.: Handbrake mounting points; brake line mounting points; etc.

Cheers

Not 100% sure, but I think there was no difference in the diffs on the wagons.

Thanks for that

From the quick look I had, they seemed similar. I just wanted to be sure 'cos I wouldn't like to pull everything out and find things don't fit!!

Looked up the part number, and there doesn't seem to b e anything there either.

Ah well, only one way to find out

I'm pretty sure the EL has 3 different positions for the upper trailing arms. With the sedan it does anyway.

Nah, they're pretty much the same - get yourself some decent 10mm hose for the breather (decent length too), haven't yet seen an original hose that hasn't ripped open.
