Hey guys so i've had one problem after the other with the brakes on the fairmont. When i bought the car the rotors were warped and the pads were worn, so i threw on some slotted rotors and bendix pads and all was well. 3 months later i was driving and the brakes completely failed, going straight to the floor, I pulled over and gave it 30 minutes and the brakes were back. My first thought was that it was the master cylinder so i took it to my mechanic who said all was fine and that it must of been a combination of the heat and me riding the breaks (I wasn't). I took it home and it seemed normal at first but the brakes hit the floor twice more so i took it back and my mechanic said that after testing driving and giving the brakes alot the master cylinder finally failed and her would replace it. So the master cylinder was replaced and I thought all was well, WRONG.

After a few weeks the breaks felt spongey and unresponsive, having to push the brake down much further to actually stop. Knowing it wasn't right i took the car to my brother's mechanic as by this stage i was getting fed up with mine. He checked it out and reckoned there was air caught in the brakes? (My brother spoke to him so i didn't hear the whole story) So he bled the brakes and adjusted the calipers. Finally the brakes were back to normal and felt really responsive, but as i should have known after a week the brakes are now hitting the floor again and it has now come up with a warning light on the dash.

Some body please help! This is driving me insane, I can't use the car and it seems mechanics don't know what the problem is or how to fix it.

It has a leek somewhere, it is the only possible cause. follow each individual brake line to each wheel and take the wheel off. Check all joins and unions until you find it. May only leak under pedal pressure so a friend may be needed.
