Hmmm... it can be tricky I had 245's on 18's E-series offset and iI had ti take out the grease nipple so it wouldn't hit, maybe 225's might get you out of mischief?

you'd really have to see where it's rubbing, Ive seen these with 20's so something should be able to be sorted out

Most likely the spacers aren't thick enough. How thick are they? Should be 35-40mm thick. That's what I ran when I had Au rims. They were 17's but rolling dia would be similar

I've got same Tyres as u and mine don't scub. Plenty if guys gunning 20's with no issues . Would be the spacers I reckon not being thick enough.
Have a look and see how much it is rubbing by. Would an extra 10-15mm + thickness of spacers u have now. Be enough to bring it out and stop the rubbing .

Yep i have 235/35/19's and have no troubles at all, sounds like its just offset problem.

uniacidz wrote: I still dont know why people use spacers. Any sort of accident, and even if u have basic third party etc, they wont pay up, even the compulsary wont pay up. Mind you lot of people use em. Back on topic, Sounds like space depth is too small and 40mm is needed at least because thats a load of BS Unless you've got specific cases to back your story up. But i do know of a few people who have stacked their cars and claimed insurance while running adapters. its no different to any other 'not quite RW' car out there. as for needing 40mm adapters... The required adapters depend on the offset and width of the wheel. A lot of upper ball joints don't have a grease nipple, so whilst some will have issues, other won't.
