Use a cold chiesel to hammer in a slot in the top of the nut, then use an Impact Driver with a large flat screwdriver bit, and go from there......thats all I got.

Had the same issue when the bloke I bought the wagon off didn't include the key. Tried double hex sockets which did nothing. Went to a tyre shop round the corner, who said they can use their 'special machine' to pull the lock nuts off and possibly damage the thread, for a cost of $70!!! Told him I'd be right back (not!), went a bit further up the road to an independent place who were absolutely awesome (I see you're in Melbourne, they're good blokes at Highway Tyres in Mitcham). They tried for a good 20-30 minutes, bashing on a series of impact sockets and rattling them off, until they finally found one that worked without just spinning off.
Best of all they did the 20-30 minutes work for nothing!
